Four variants

One software base. Four form factors.

All variants share the same proven software stack – you simply choose where it runs: in the low-cost LTE entry box, on your own virtualization, on the DIN rail or on an AI appliance.

From the field · Load management

A 180 kW connection. 180 pitches. 8 chargers. One box.

A real project: a campsite with a 180 kW medium-voltage grid connection and 60 kW of peak PV power. The NeLeSo Edge box measures the live load of pitches and restaurant and gives the charge points exactly the budget the site can spare, second by second – more at noon with PV surplus, less during the evening restaurant peak, the most at night.

  • A dynamic budget instead of a rigid reserve – no grid upgrade needed
  • PV surplus flows into the vehicles first
  • If the connection drops, the box keeps balancing on its own

Proven at scale

In production – not in a datasheet lab.

800

Wallboxes on one instance

One operator runs 800 wallboxes through a single Edge V instance – routing, load management and monitoring on one device inside their own infrastructure.

up to 1,000 kW

Hyperchargers on one device

30 high-power chargers with up to 1,000 kW each run through a single NeLeSo Edge instance at one customer – power classes where mistakes get seriously expensive.

Campsite

Site-wide load management

A 180 kW grid connection, 60 kW of PV, 180 camper pitches and 8 dedicated charging stations – balanced by one Edge box in the control cabinet.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about NeLeSo Edge.

Do I still need a cloud?

No. Every Edge variant works offline-first and fully autonomously. Connecting it to a central platform (yours or ours) is optional and can be added at any time – for multi-site monitoring or billing.

Which wallboxes are supported?

Any charge point speaking OCPP 1.6J or OCPP 2.0.1 – vendor-independent. Meters and energy measurement via Modbus RTU/TCP, SunSpec and EEBUS.

What happens if the hardware fails?

Basic support: replacement after you send the unit in. Support Plus: a pre-configured replacement unit shipped in advance (advance replacement). Your configuration is backed up automatically in encrypted form and restored onto the replacement device.

How do updates reach the device?

Through signed update bundles with an A/B scheme: installed on the inactive partition, live only after a successful self-test, automatic rollback if anything fails. You decide the maintenance windows.

Can I start with Edge S and grow later?

Yes. Configuration and data move to the larger variant via backup – same software base, so the migration is an afternoon, not a project.
